So there's a couple version of "rallycross." In most of Europe it's wheel-to-wheel racing on a track that has both tarmac and non-tarmac portions. In the U.S., it's generally just autocross on any "off-road" surface that isn't tarmac (in this case, the middle of a frozen lake up in Wisconsin). The numbers serve the same purpose they do in autocross; identifying the cars/drivers for the people doing timing.

I know why you have number … I, uh ….
Better way to ask would of been "why are there different kinds of stickers on the same class of car? I.E. Round cirlces, painters tape, your white numbers, square sticker, etc. "
AKA do you have to bring your own number/sticker?
EDIT: Also my previous comments "no" instead of "know", holy brain fart.

Yeah, it's just bring a number. It was a very informal event.

I know for SCCA, the rules just say that they have to be a certain size visible (not red on red, etc)

I purposefully lost 22.5lbs. ;)
It's a Berk single-exit muffler delete.

Like the other guys said, yeah you bring your own numbers. It's an SCCA run event, so basically the same rules as an SCCA Solo event; except a bit more informal.
Different guys got their numbers from different places. I ordered mine through Hawgee Decals (
http://www.hawgee.com/
). They aren't shown on the site, but for anyone who wants numbers you can just email them and it can be done. Great prices, and a really great guy. He's a friend of mine, and I'm all about supporting the local dudes.

Ah neat. I just figured what with the sideways into snowbanks action....
Berk stuff is nice. It's very popular with the second gen MR2 crowd.

Haha understandably so. I did manage to push the grill in a bit. Gonna have to wait until it gets warm out to pull the bumper off and pop it back into the last few clips.
Yeah, I'm really happy with the performance gain (essentially just weight drop, because the power gain is negligible) and the sound. A bit of drone, but for $90 I can't complain. haha

I'm waiting for the other photographer, who was out there, to post his photos. If things worked out the way I'm hoping they did, there should be a picture of me giving a thumbs up and looking at the camera as I fly by sideways. haha
